Journaling

I have been religiously journaling now for almost six months, deciding it’ll help me become more organised. Now five books may seem a little extravagant to some, and they’re probably right, but this completely works for me as each book/diary/planner is for something different.

Now I’ve had the ‘One Line A Day’ five-year memory book for over four years and it’s perfect for those who don’t want to or have much time to write paragraph after paragraph about their day. You have enough room to write about one paragraph and what I love most about this book is you can easily see what you were up to on the same day over five years. It’s a lovely way to store memories. Buy it here

‘Q and A: 5-year journal’ is very similar to the ‘One Line a day memory book’ but instead of writing a paragraph about your day, you answer a different question a day and then you can compare how your answer changes (or sometimes don’t)  over the years. Buy it here

Both of these books looked extremely elegant with gold edges, and would make a lovely gift for someone, or even for yourself.

Now, I absolutely love this! ‘The Happiness Planner – 100 Day Planner’ is just perfect and I will definitely be purchasing another one or ‘The Happiness Player 52 Week Journal’ next year. For me, it’s got everything I need and does indeed inject a little bit of happiness into my day.

The official website says this about the planner;

The Happiness Planner is a planner like no other. Instead of focusing on productivity, it focuses on “your happiness”. It is designed to help you welcome more positivity, joy, and happiness into your life by applying the practices of positive thinking, positive affirmations, mindfulness, gratitude, and self-development. The focus is on making each day a positive experience, building introspection into your routine and increasing self-awareness.

On top of the typical daily pages, this planner is packed with questions and guides that help you become a happier and more positive person.

I totally agree with this 100 percent, it has kept me motivated and I love the inspirational quotes on top of each page. I also find the weekly reflection really helpful. Buy it here

This is just a plain, lined notebook that I do my morning ‘Brain dump’ in. I wake up every morning and write a page or two in here on what ever is on my mind. I’m not going to lie, if you read it, it would probably make no sense as it is full of ramblings but I feel better after doing it and feel like I have a clearer head for the day.

Plus this notebook is so cute. I love the white and gold detailing on it. Plus, I’m a sucker for a good quote. I have had this for a while and I’m afraid I have no idea where I got it from.

I’m still quite new to Bullet Journaling but I absolutely love the freedom of being able to put what ever I need in it to suit my needs. Pinterest is fantastic for inspiration for this and I have definitely been a lot more organised since I have started using it. Plus, it’s great for those who are creative or just cannot find a planner that fills all their requirements. Now, I’m not going to go into detail on how to bullet journal as you can find out so much information about it online. Youtube is your friend people!

  1. Growing up I have a diary that I wrote in almost every day, my thoughts of the day and secrets that I wouldn’t tell anyone else. I’ve bought journals throughout the years but really haven’t put pen to paper. I need to start doing it again.

  3. I love fun journals. I have a problem with buying pretty books but only half using them (a problem I am working to correct). These would be great additions and perfect to start journaling with.
